About Tapestry – Award Winning Garden Design

We are a landscaping design company based in Essex that designs across southern and eastern England.

At the heart of our company is qualified and experienced garden designer and landscaping designers.

Our team is led by landscape designer Katie Moyes, who’s been designing gardens for many years. She has a First Class Diploma in garden design from Writtle College and also has an RHS Diploma in Horticulture. Katie works alongside Chris and Paul Baker, who also work for our partner company, Holland Landscapes, an award-winning garden construction business established in 1988.

How we design

Our landscaping design ethos is to give every space, plant and structure a purpose in your garden, and to make all the practical elements of your garden beautiful too.

We know that gardens take time to mature with planting, so it’s important that the paving and other structures have inherent beauty and interest while you sit back and watch your garden flourish.

Design vision

The design process is more complex than just producing a garden design and planting plan. Our design team work closely with the construction team to implement the vision developed in collaboration with you.

Turning the design into reality

We would always suggest that you choose a construction team that specialises in landscaping design to build your garden. An experienced landscape designer will be able to realise the designer’s vision for the garden as they have an understanding of space, planting and how a garden is designed to mature and develop.

Choosing a contractor

For clients based within Essex and Suffolk we recommend our landscaping partner, Holland Landscapes. For clients based further afield we would be happy to suggest alternative construction companies. Get in touch
