Tapestry Design Studios has been involved in designing several award winning gardens. Including awards from The Association of Professional Landscapers.
The garden and landscape design team at Tapestry Design Studios has an unblemished reputation for designing stylish and sumptuous outdoor spaces. Because we are a medium-sized company where we like to get to know and work with each customer as an individual. Our aim is to create a distinctive garden design that truly reflects the clients’ character and interests
The design process starts with a consultation with one of our garden designers. Before we can start suggesting layouts, elements and materials, it’s important to gain a thorough understanding of how you wish to use your outdoor space. In other words, we create a wish list of features and a comprehensive design brief.
Working to a budget? Tapestry Design Studios work closely with our sister-company Holland Landscapes. Because we are closely affiliated, we know what materials and labour costs and we can tailor a design so that the build-costs fit your financial plan.
Some of our clients have lots of ideas and know exactly what they want. Other clients are overwhelmed at the choices out there and are seeking guidance. That’s OK. By getting to know our clients we can help them make those all-important decisions. We only ever make suggestions and will never force anything on you.
Tapestry Design Studios believes believes that every garden should also compliment the property and its environment. Therefore our approach to garden design includes thinking how a new garden might look from inside the property, from beyond the boundaries and improving the surrounding views . Because when a garden sits comfortably in the wider landscape it looks authentic and will add beauty and value to the whole property.
Seeing your garden design in 3D will help you to visualise how your new garden will look and how you will be able to interact with it. It’s far easier to interpret than a 2D plan because it gives you a better idea of heights and proportions. Ask your garden designer about 3D garden design .
Good landscape design is more than just an attractive drawing or a 3D computer simulation. Above all, we believe that garden design is a long term investment and should be as futureproof as possible. Our garden designers take pains to ensure that your new garden will be easily managed and a joy to spend time in for the foreseeable future.
More about the garden design process
Designing a garden is a creative experience like no other. Not everybody needs or wants a whole new garden. Some are looking to refresh the planting, others want design inspiration and guidance so that they can develop their own design themselves.
Tapestry Design Studios offer flexible design packages to suit your needs. And if you need help with all or part of the build, we frequently recommend and work with landscape professionals.
